Johnson Creek Watershed Wide events (Inner & Outer Southeast Portland)
Saturday, March 2, 8:45 AM-noon + 12:00-2:00 PM Pizza Party!
Johnson Creek Watershed Council is hosting multiple events throughout the watershed on this day. Despite being an urban creek, Johnson Creek is home to a variety of wildlife, including threatened and endangered salmon. No less than four of the sites (Powell Butte – Circle Avenue, Powell Butte @SE 145th Avenue and Springwater, Springwater @Linwood-Bell, and Tideman Johnson Park) will be PP&R-managed sites! Come join us as we plant and mulch native trees and shrubs and complete other habitat enhancement projects to improve air quality, wildlife habitat, and the beauty of our natural areas.
